STAY AWAY- THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF

If you dont have time to go into details I would frame them in one word – AUTO DIRECTS IS NO OTHER THEN A FRAUD. STAY AWAY. They sales cars atleast 10-15% cheaper then anywhere else you find but think twice how they do this : I was one of the victim of these cheat company . Here are some of the details about them: 1- They photoshop the pictures so car you see in pictures on their website dont represent the correct condition. It would be much dirty, with dents and scratches. 2-Their carfax/autocheck report says clean title but it doesn’t mean it was never in accident. Normally they buy accidental cars from auction and repair them in their body-shop so there wont be any accident history you would find. 3- They will pretend nice and professional before you pay them and once you pay- you will be just unknown for them. They wouldn't respond your mails or calls. 4- No matter what commitment/promise they give you about car, either verbally or In writing – they will not honor it. 5- They are very smart in documentation so you wont be able to sue them or get any claim legally. 6- Don't wonder if you find some great reviews about them- they offer rewards to write good reviews. If you are interested to know more or want to know specific to my case I would be happy to share details- they sold me clean title car which I found was in major accident and need $2000 of repair. They gave me in writing to pay for tail gate fix but after I bought car they never attended my call or responded my mails. I am spending my time to write this honest review so that I can save people from this cheat company. After-all its hard earned money !!! you may write me on snehalvh@***.com if you want to know more but if you still wish to be trapped by their low price and classic marketing presentation-choice is yours but I can bet you will be writing similar review after a month.

Firstly, no one is paying me for this comment. I did my own carfax on cars I bought from autosdirectonline.com and my findings were identical to theirs.

The scratches in the pictures were the same scratch he's my cars arrived with, no evidence of photo shop. Couldn't find my cars for less than I paid, anywhere else.

Selling Vehicles with Lots of Mechanical Problems and Rust

Updated by user Mar 03, 2013

Contacted Autos Direct again to get an invoice so I could get a tag for it. They refuse to even respond now.

So now I am going to get my attorney involved. They refuse to send me an invoice on the vehicle. NC requires an invoice before you can purchase a tag. One can only speculate there is some shady business going on with this company.

As long as I have there 30 day tag, I will be using it.

They are responsible for any accidents with this vehicle until they provide full documents for me to fully make the purchase. By the way I am now over $2000 worth of repairs and still not done.

Original review Jan 31, 2013
Purchased the vehicle from Julie Turner. She stated the vehicle was PERFECT and free from any RUST or MECHANICAL PROBLEMS. Took vehicle into dealership for state inspection. It FAILED miserably. After $1000 worth of mechanical issues, still had lots of work. They stated the vehicle should not had even been sold, too dangerous to be on the public roads. Attempted to contact Autos Direct and what do you know, they misteriously vanished. I should have taken my gut feeling about this one from the beginning. Julie attempted to get more money out of me than what the vehicle was even advertised for. When I told her that her math did not add up. She accused me of confusing her. Final word: they sell vehicles with mechanical issues as well as many, many rust problems. I suspect rolling back the odometer due to so many problems with a vehicle with such low mileage.

I purchased a BMW from them in 2011, Drove 500 miles to purchase this car, with it's too good to be true price. Had body damage everywhere, Test drove and found out it needed, new ball bearings, new brake pads, new rotors, new tires, new belt, and a new electric water pump, holy ***, this vehicle needed $5,000 in just repairs not including the hail damaged hood with its mediocre paint job!

DO NOT BUY from these people... Just checked there site and its not working.

Keep me informed on a lawsuit. I am ready to go to court and sue these backwoods hillbillys.

I had another $1000 worth of repairs on the vehicle. What a bunch of low lifes.

If you still purchase from them after reading both of these comments as well as the 1000s posted elsewhere about these idiots, then you get what you deserve.

Bought a car from these clowns. Never shipped it.

I called credit card company to dispute deposit. And as far as the loan they got i called the bank and told them car never shipped. See you clowns in court as if they even try to deliver car it will be REFUSED! I also made a few calls to local dept's near there mickey mouse building!

I wish i would have read all the HORRIBLE stories! Since i am retired my life will be shutting them down and creating numerous blogs about my experience and others! The cars these guys sell are all JUNK. I hear they touch cars up with Cans of spray paint and wire ties!

I hear all the sales people and service people have YELLOW TEETH! They should spend some of the money they steal on CREST WHITE STRIPS! You would be better off buying a salvage car then anything these uneducated losers sell!

Word on the street is not only do they sell junk cars but they also cut peoples lawn's! A bunch of tinkerers!

I got ripped off by Autos Direct Online

Do Not Trust These Guys!!! I purchased a 2005 Nissan Titan from Juan at Autos Direct Online in february of 2011. I saw it on ebay and called to verify condition, etc. I was told the vehicle had a clean car fax, drove great, didn't smell, no rust, no accidents. Because I live in CO and they seemed reputable, I purchased the truck over the phone. They told me shipping would be about 2 weeks. almost 8 weeks later the truck arrived. The delivery guy showed up on Easter sunday and demanded cash to release the vehicle. I had already paid shipping to the dealer. Where do I get $600 cash on Easter Sunday!!! They dropped the truck off in the rain. When I got in to drive, there was no power steering. The power steering pump was seized because it was bone dry. I called Juan and he said for me to fix it at a local dealership and that they would reimburse me for the cost. They never did. I called Juan no fewer than 15 times and he kept telling me that I needed to talk to 'Vince'. I called and left voicemails for Vince 11 times and sent him 4 emails recounting my experience and attached the receipt I was to be reimbursed for. I have never heard from him. The tires were bald upon delivery and had to be replaced immediately. The battery died within 1 week and I was stranded 60 miles from home. There are obvious paint touch ups and overspray, evidence of an obvious attempt to hide body damage. The under carriage is completely rusted. The brakes had to be replaced within the 1st month. The tech that did the break job said that the seals on both differentials were gone and that there was water in them. Get this... there wasn't a drop of oil in the engine when they delivered the vehicle!! Almost a year later I just traded the vehicle because it has been such a disaster. When the dealer ran the VIN# they informed me that it had been in an accident in 2009! I have copies of the ebay listing that lists this truck as in great shape, clean car fax, no rust, runs perfect etc. It was all a lie. Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere. These guys are dishonest and downright criminal.

I am considering purchasing from this place. I looked at all pictures of all vehicles I like.

First step we will get unlimited VIN checks through carfax. Most likely almost all or majority of these vehicles are repo's, salvaged, damaged, or whatever. If not *** gravy.

We will drive to their store in OH ourselves. We will inspect and purchase there after we test drive it and have a mechanic shop look it over. We need to go for a road trip anyways.

We buy and sell our vehicles every 2 years or less. Its just nice to have a vehicle for less than actual car payments so we can fix then sell.

With all said and done, we will make sure, we are purchasing something legit. In person inspection is the key. People ask to buy our vehicles and I tell them no unless they are in person. Even the non scams that offer paypal and shipping garbage.

Get informed, go in person, pay a real shop to inspect, and look the vehicle over yourself OR DONT BUY IT>

As noted clearly on all of our vehicle listings, any client purchasing a vehicle sight unseen should consider purchasing a third-party vehicle inspection prior to purchasing, due to varying opinions regarding a vehicles' condition. It seems that you did not have the inspection performed in this case.

The cost is very minimal (usually around 100.00), and can be a great way for the dealer and client to make sure they are on the "same page" regarding the vehicle. We hope that in the future you will consider the cost of an inspection in your budget for a vehicle, and would like to offer you a trade-in option in the event that you are still unsatisfied with your purchase. As a facility that sells approximately 250 vehicles per month, we are aware that occasionally there will be an instance where a client is less than satisfied, and we would welcome the opportunity to take the vehicle back on a trade-in, and we will be happy to offer a much higher value than would be expected in an effort to earn your satisfaction.

If you would like to exercise this option, please contact our General Manager at 440-339-****. Sincerely - Autos DIrect Online
